1. the cap itself is easy enough to twist off to not even know that the plastic hinges were fused or not. Now you have a mysterious consequence of not knowing if it was broken because you can't remember if you checked those hinges. 2. why would you want this auto seal break as a customer?

Damn. I had to research this just to make sure this is normal. I already complained on the store where i bought this product. I thought it was already opened and closed in the store by some prankster or a-hole. This design is so easy for bad people to do stupid things like opening, drinking, spitting, and so on.
